This policy applies to Muck App Trivia (Google Play package

Muck App Trivia is a free multiplayer party-games app (Trivia, Muck Libs, Muck Lies, and Muckst Likely). This policy applies specifically to the Muck App Trivia mobile app and is separate from the privacy policies of any other apps published under muckapps.com. It explains what little information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We built Muck App Trivia to need as little of your data as possible — there are no user accounts and no passwords.
Muck App Trivia is operated by the developer of muckapps.com. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at marcmucken@gmail.com.
Anonymous sign-in. When you open the app it signs you in anonymously through Firebase Authentication (a Google service). This creates a random, anonymous ID for your device. It is not tied to your name, email, phone number, or a Google account, and we never ask you to create one.
Live game data. To run a multiplayer game, the app stores a small amount of game information in Firebase Firestore (a Google-hosted database) for the duration of a session. This includes the game code, the display name and avatar color you pick, your answers and votes during play, and your score. This data is linked only to your anonymous ID. Other players in your game can see your display name, avatar color, and score, because that's how the game works.
On-device storage. Your local game library, settings, and record of which content packs you've unlocked are stored on your device (using the browser/app IndexedDB storage). This information stays on your device and is not uploaded to us.
Purchases. Muck App Trivia is free to install. Some content packs and hosting features are available as in-app purchases. All payments are processed by Google Play Billing — we do not receive or store your payment card number, billing address, or similar details. We receive only Google's confirmation that a purchase was completed so the app can unlock what you bought. Google's handling of your payment is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not collect your real name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and Muck App Trivia does not show ads.
We use the limited information above only to:
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the app:
Live game data (names, scores, votes, and game codes) is short-lived — it exists to run the current game and is not something we keep or use afterward. On-device data stays on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes the local library and unlock records stored on your device; you can restore previous purchases at any time from within the app using the same Google account that made them.
Muck App Trivia is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact marcmucken@gmail.com and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
